The trending topic on all social media sites is “Britney Spears leaked text messages.”
The 2019 text messages that Britney Spears sent from a mental health facility to her family and friends were leaked, and they have since gone viral.
She specifically criticized Lynne Spears, her mother, for allegedly failing to provide support when she was under conservatorship.
The alarming text messages that Britney Spears sent to her mother, friend, and attorney in 2019 while she was being held in a mental health facility against her will were first noticed by MandyNews.com on BuzzfeedNews.com.
Between November of 2008 and November of 2021, Britney was subject to a legal agreement that saw her life and finances closely supervised by her father, Jamie Spears, and a team of attorneys.
In the widely circulated communications that were released, Britney wrote to her friend Jansen Fitzgerald asking for help on obtaining new legal representation and for information about lithium.
Britney wrote numerous messages, and in one of them, she stated:
“He was saying he wants to UP the seraquil [sic] and I’m like whoaaaaaaa horsey go f–k yourslwf [sic]”
“Seraquil I thought was a sleep aid but it’s for bipolar and is WAAAAAY Stronger than lithium.”
“I literally feel alll [sic] the sick medicine in my stomach, I feel like he’s trying to kill me. I swear to god I do.”
The singer expressed her desire to make some adjustments in her life after leaving the facility in another screen capped conversation with Samuel D. Ingham III, the attorney assigned by the court.
Britney Spears stated in the message that;
“I want to talk about going to court when this is done and getting my medical rights”
“When this program is over I don’t want to work at all… I want to live for me and have an adventurous life.”
The American singer and dancer, who is 40 years old, captioned the screenshots post on Instagram with the following text:
“It’s a little different with proof. Here are my text messages to my mom in that place 3 years ago… I show it because there was no response.”
Lynne and Jansen, however, denied Britney’s assertions in response to the widely circulated leaked messages.
On her Instagram Story, Jansen shared a screenshot of her own conversation with Britney and the following message:
“My heart is a little broken this morning so I would like to clarify some things… I love my friends more than life itself and would go to the ends of the earth for them.”
“This msg [sic] along with THOUSANDS of msgs [sic] were sent to the court investigator in 2019 in order to help my friend Britney Spears.
We talked daily when she was in her last facility and her mom and I even went to New Orleans and met with an attorney to try and help her.”
Following that, Lynne re-posted Jansen’s story on her own Instagram account with the caption;
“Britney, I have all the ‘whole conversations’ as well!
I hurt for you that you feel the people who love you the most betrayed you!
