President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday reacts to the attacks on ‘critical national infrastructure’ while boasting of the way the Nigeria government killed more than two million of the indigenous peoples of Biafra during the devastating civil war fifty years ago.
The 78-year-old former military ruler who was among those who fought a civil war in Nigeria between the government of Nigeria headed by General Yakubu Gowon and the secessionist state of Biafra says he “went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”
In his tweets to Nigerians over the insecurity in southeastern Nigeria, he addressed the issue of his competency, saying: “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War.”
He went on: “Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”
