Buhari Leaves Nigeria For Makkah, Saudi Arabia On Thursday For OIC Summit

President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja on Thursday to attend the Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

A press release by Garba Shehu, Buhari’s spokesperson, learn: “Forward of the Summit, was a preparatory assembly in Jeddah meant to undertake the draft agenda and work programme for the Summit.

“On the agenda have been the query of Palestine and the Arab-Israeli battle; combating terrorism and violent extremism; the humanitarian scenario within the Muslim world; promotion of scientific cooperation, amongst others.”
