Social media has been buzzing recently with a controversial tweet attributed to Ghanaian actor John Dumelo. The tweet claims:

“From 29th May 2023, pictures of a drug dealer will be on the walls of every office in Nigeria as a president. A sad day for West Africa!!!”

This serious claim implicates Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu. However, upon close examination by the MandyNews.com team, we found that the tweet does not originate from Dumelo and lacks verifiable evidence.

The tweet first surfaced from a user named Chy Gold, or @ifygold21, who is not connected to John Dumelo. Despite diligent efforts to investigate, no evidence was found to suggest Dumelo was the author of the controversial post.
