Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Ghana as of April 15, 2020, by region
After Ghana confirms first two cases on March 13, Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been spreading fast. As of April 15, 2020, the total number of cases reported by the authorities has reached 636. The Greater Accra Region of the country was mostly hit, and the region with the highest number of cases was Accra, which registered 509 of them. The neighbouring regions of Ashanti and Nothern registered 51 and 43 cases respectively. The virus in the country has hit mostly 41% female and 59% male.
Ghana is currently the country with the third-highest number of Coronavirus cases in sub-Saharan Africa country after Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
