Notable celebrities around the world including Cardi B, Lil Baby, all affirmed on social media that they supported the End Special Anti-Robbery Squad (END SARS).
Following the brutality, extrajudicial killings and extortion by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) thousands are protesting and celebrities are speaking out.
Recall Nigeria’s inspector general of police banned the notorious unit from carrying out stop and search duties.
But many are saying that’s not enough they want an end to SARS – including celebrities with large social media followings like John Boyega, Lil Baby, Wizkid and Davido.
Wizkid and Davido are using their online platforms to amplify the voices of youths amid the EndSARS outcry.
While Wizkid has given his assurance to protest in UK, Davido vowed to set up a face to face meeting with top government officials.
Here are celebrities joining the chorus of thousands of protesters demanding End SARS.
