Jada Pollock Blasts Grammys For Giving Wizkid Award To Angelique Kidjo

Jada Pollock slams the Grammys for bestowing the Wizkid Award for Best Global Music Album on Angelique Kidjo.

On Sunday, April 3, the winner of Best Global Music Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards was announced, and it triggered a lot of drama.

The singer Wizkid lost his two nominations to Arooj Aftab, Mohabbat, and Angelique Kidjo.

Wizkid didn’t receive any awards despite the success of his album Made in Lagos.

However, Jada Pollock was enraged and disappointed by the Grammy’s snubbing of her artist.

The former Chris Brown manager pondered the honors, charts, and shows that Made In Lagos had earned.

She tweeted: “when it’s all said and done facts speak louder than committee full of opinions.”

She continued: “I’ll just leave it here”
