The business mogul has been ill for a while and has been hospitalized in the hope of getting better, but his first and second wives don’t appear to be ok with that.

The man who was recording the encounter ordered his father to expose his hands while claiming that Alhaji had been signing checks and other documents in his name.
After some altercation, security officers from the hospital entered the hospital ward to take Alhaji Banda in defiance of his son and first wife.
At a news conference a few days prior in Accra, the family’s head had requested that the government step in and resolve these family conflicts in order to secure the release of his sick royal so that they could move them back to their village for appropriate care and treatment.
The head of the family revealed that Alhaji Banda’s second wife had shown up at 37 Hospital with a court order requesting that Alhaji be released to her despite his condition. The family views this action as an attempt by the second wife to keep Alhaji Banda away from the family, the head of the family added.
Mr. Abu Bandah, the Banda Chief in the Ashanti region, has requested individuals in positions of authority to make sure that Alhaji Asuma Banda is restored to his family because he firmly opposes such move.
Now that the incident’s video has gone viral, many people are expressing their opinions and, for the most part, condemning the second wife.
