Nigeria has dropped two steps below in the recent 2019 report released by CPI on Thursday.
Nigeria ranked 146 out of 180 countries surveyed by corruption perceptions index 2019, In the 2018 report, Nigeria ranked 144 out of 180 countries.
“This year’s analysis shows corruption is more pervasive in countries where big money can flow freely into electoral campaigns and where governments listen only to the voices of wealthy or well-connected individuals,” Corruption Perceptions Index says.
