Osun’s Coronavirus Cases Rise As Abidjan Returnees Tested Positive

Nigeria recorded new 12 cases of coronavirus on the 1st of April, nine are in Osun, one is in Ekiti and two are in Edo State.

One of the reports sighted by Mandy News, Sam Adédìran Àlàdé said:

“Disregard the rumour of the Dr that came in from America with her sick baby to Ile-Ife being the cause of the rise in Osun state COVID-19 case. She tested negative and her baby has since tested negative also. The new cases entered from Abidjan.”

“Some 127 citizens returned from Ivory coast in a convoy of like 10 buses, Osun government decided to quarantine them and test them for COVID-19 the result is what we are seeing now.”

“Thanks to Ogun state government that first noticed the situation and call the attention of Osun state government to it and kudos to Osun state government for acting swiftly.
Osun state now has 14 cases as at this morning.
We shall overcome,” he added.
