“I Cannot Vote For Igbo As A Yoruba Boy” — Prophet Oladele backs Tinubu

Isreal Oladele Ogundipe, a controversial prophet who serves as the shepherd-in-charge of the Celestial Church of Christ’s Global Genesis Parish, has declared that because he is Yoruba, he will not support an Igbo candidate to be Nigeria’s president in 2023.

He endorsed Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president.

The prophet was caught on camera during a church service addressing his congregation and making the following statements:

• “I cannot be a Yoruba boy and vote for Igbo”

A few days after the video’s release, attendees of the Peter Obi 1 Million March in Enugu spotted a t-shirt from a viral campaign that read:

“Don’t drink poison because it was served in your tribal golden cup
Vote Wisely”
