Iran Plane Crash: Ukrainian President Demands Full Compensation From Iran

The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has released a statement on Saturday demaning compensation from Iran over the Ukrainian passenger plane that was shots down by the Iranian military on the 8th of January, 2020.

As reported earlier, the Islamic Republic of Iran, admits shooting down Ukrainian airliner that killed 176 passengers near Tehran on Wednesday8 January.

Volodymyr said “Iran has pleaded guilty to crashing the Ukrainian plane. But we insist on a full admission of guilt.”

“We expect from Iran assurances of their readiness for a full and open investigation, bringing those responsible to justice, the return of the bodies of the dead, the payment of compensation, official apologies through diplomatic channels,” the president add.
