US Court Denies Hushpuppi Bail: Reasons Hushpuppi Was Denied Bail




Popular Instagram celebrity Ray Abbas Hushpuppi, has been denied bail by a Federal Magistrate Court in the US because he Pays $10k {N4.5m} monthly rent in Dubai.

A federal court sitting in the Northern District of Illinois on Monday denied the bail application of Nigerian influencer Ramon Abbas, known on the internet as ‘Hushpuppi’.

According to the judge, Hushpuppi will be transferred to Los Angeles by the U.S. Marshals Service, and the king of lifestyle trial is set to be held in Los Angeles later this year.

Why was Hushpuppi denied bail?

Ray Hushpuppi was denied bail and told by a judge on Monday 13 June 2020 in Chicago that he will remain detained until his trial later this year over money laundering allegations.

The judge says that the fact that Hushpuppi project a wealthy lifestyle, he gotta be doing something right to pay $10,000 a month for an apartment in Dubai and he also have access to some real cash.
