The first coronavirus case detected in Lagos, Nigeria on February 28 an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan, Italy to Lagos, Nigeria on the 25th of February 2020 has now tested negative.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, says on Friday, 20 March that the first Italian man who brought coronavirus to Nigeria now tests negative.
The Italian man is set to be tested again before he will be released from the hospital in Lagos.
The Nigerian man who had contact with the Italian man was isolated in Ogun State. anyway, he tested positive twice, subsequent tests were negative.
