Freedom usually comes in two parts. God does what only He can do, and we do what He asks of us: repent, forgive, change habits, seek help and take the next step. These prayer points cover both.

How to use these prayer points

Read the verses for a group, then pray the points aloud in your own words. Take one or two groups a day rather than rushing all 80.

1. Choose a time you can keep. Early morning, lunch break or before bed. Many people also join a night vigil in church once a month.
2. Begin with repentance and thanksgiving. The first group below is there for a reason.
3. Pray with your Bible open. Read each verse slowly and let it shape what you say.
4. Fast if you are led to and your health allows. A morning fast till 12 noon for three or seven days is common. It is optional; God hears you either way.
5. Act on what God shows you. If a prayer point says "give me courage to cut off", then cut off.
6. Keep a record. Write the date beside points you are praying, and write the testimony when it comes.

If you go to a church or ministry for deliverance, go to one you know and trust. No genuine minister should beat you, starve you, cut you, touch you inappropriately or demand money to pray for you.
