Met Gala 2023 – All the stunning looks from this year’s red carpet
The Met Gala 2023 has finally arrived, and we are here to bring you all the breathtaking celebrity looks from the event of the year. This year’s theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” promises to inspire a diverse range of show-stopping ensembles, and we can’t wait to see how the stars interpret the legacy of the iconic designer.

The Theme: Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty
“Fashion is not art—fashion belongs on the street, on women’s bodies, on men’s bodies.” – Karl Lagerfeld
The Met Gala 2023 theme celebrates the artistic methodology and stylistic vocabulary of Karl Lagerfeld’s designs across more than 65 years. The exhibition showcases the recurring themes in his work from the 1950s to his final collection in 2019.
The Co-Hosts
This year’s co-hosts include actress Penélope Cruz, actress Michaela Coel, tennis star Roger Federer, singer Dua Lipa, and Vogue’s Anna Wintour.
The Music Stars
- Dua Lipa – The singer and Met Gala co-chair honors Lagerfeld in a stunning Chanel Haute Couture bridal gown, originally modeled by Claudia Schiffer at the brand’s fall/winter 1992 show.
- Ice Spice – The hip-hop rookie makes her Met Gala debut in a sleek white gown, trading her trademark red curls for long, straight tresses.
- Rita Ora – The singer stuns in a sheer-accented black gown with an unbelievably long train that makes a statement on the coveted stairs.
The Red Carpet Looks
- Rihanna – The singer and fashion icon pays tribute to Lagerfeld in a stunning vintage Chanel gown, paired with a dramatic Fendi fur stole.
- Kim Kardashian – The reality star and entrepreneur channels her inner Lagerfeld with a sleek, black-and-white ensemble, complete with fingerless gloves and a high-collared cape.
- Beyoncé – Queen Bey dazzles in a crystal-encrusted gown by Balmain, one of Lagerfeld’s past design houses.
- Zendaya – The actress and style star opts for a playful, colorful Chloé mini-dress, adorned with Lagerfeld’s signature sketches.
- Lady Gaga – Never one to shy away from a dramatic entrance, Gaga arrives in a show-stopping Lagerfeld-inspired creation, complete with an oversized bow and a mile-long train.
