Central Bank of Nigeria Ends Dollar Fees on Domestic Transactions
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has implemented a ban on dollar charges for domestic transactions to promote the use of the Nigerian Naira and address currency instability. The CBN will announce a cut-off date soon after which point dollars will no longer be used for card charges in the country.
