INEC: Group Hails Tinubu, Oshiomhole On Lagos APC Candidates’ List

A group of All Progressives Congress, APC, members, under the umbrella of “Concerned Youth” of Oriade Local Council Development Area, LCDA, have called the attention of National leader of the party, Asiwaju, Bola Tinubu and National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole to the purported plan by faceless leaders of the party to subvert the will of the people.

The group alleged that plans have been concluded to tamper with the candidates list released by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

A statement by Coordinator of the group, Ishawu Yinusa, however, applauded the party leaders, Tinubu,Oshiomole, the state’s party chairman, Tunde Balogun, and the entire council Executive, council leadership led by Prince Saliu Adio Sekoni, Ganiyu Olukolu , chief Isiaka Ajakayie and other elders in the community.

“We also extend our appreciation to council chairman , vice chairman, the legislative arm of the council, wards’ leaders, royal fathers, the communities, market women and the good people of Oriade over the support for the overwhelming victory of Wale Rauf as the flagbearer of the APC, House of Assembly in Amuwo Odofin constituency 2.

“We are saying No to this act by some unscrupulous highly placeed persons in the party to have the list altered. We hereby use this medium to caution them to desist from the plan as any attempt to commit the act will be met with stiff opposition.

“We are going to fight back both legally, and otherwise. Sorry, we are appealing to leaders of our party not to tamper with list recently displayed by the INEC,” Yinusa said.
