
AAC, PDP Disagree Over N3 Billion Bribery Allegation
Rivers governorship candidate of The African Motion Congress (AAC), Biokpomabo Awara and the PDP Marketing campaign Council within the state, are at loggerheads over allegations that governor Nyesom Wike had provided Awara, N3 billion to resign his ambition.
Awara made the declare at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday that he had rejected the incentives to drop his ambition, and stays resolute.
“I had earlier turned down a proposal of N3b, Gov. Wike provided to me some days in the past via his associates. In a response, Director of Info and Communications of the State PDP Marketing campaign Council Emma Okah, denied the claims made by Awara.
“The allegation is infantile and ridiculous. Does he know the load of N3 Billion? The place will the governor get such cash to present anyone as a bribe to win an election that he has already received? What did Awara do or will do that can make the governor supply him such cash?”
Okah urged Awara to align together with his deputy, Akpo Bomba Yeeh by making the proper choice and responding to the allegations raised by his former working mate.
