Ada Ameh, an actress most known for her roles in the movies Domitila, Aki na Ukwa, Phone Swap, and Blood Money, has kicked the bucket. She was 48 years old.
According to a report released on Monday by a number of sources, Ameh passed away in Delta State, a state located in Nigeria’s South-South geopolitical zone.
There were no indications of foul play, according to the information obtained by MandyNews.com. However, she made the public aware of her mental health just a few days before she passed away.
Ada Ameh discussed her struggle with mental illness during a live Instagram conversation she had on June 15.
The actress, who was born in Benue State, disclosed that she struggled with mental illness and was offered a job that she was unable to fulfill.
She claims the organization didn’t comprehend her situation and therefore sued her.
Ameh stated that she was being sued by the corporation for a stunning sum of money, which she appeared unable to pay.
The actress who acted in the award-winning Nigerian television series titled The Johnsons admitted that the lawsuit had taken a toll on her, but she wouldn’t allow it to weigh her down or kill her.
Ada Ameh lost six of her siblings before the year 2020—three brothers and three sisters.
She lost her only child, a stunning girl she gave birth to at age 14, on October 20, 2020. Which led her to struggle with illness.
She lost yet another sibling in March 2022.
