Ahead of 2023 election, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari reappoints Professor Mahmoud Yakubu to a 5-year new tenure as INEC’s Chairman.

The President on Tuesday presented a letter to the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Lawan for confirmation for Professor Mahmood Yakubu as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission second term in office.
