The Kano State Governor H.E UmarGanduje has approved the appointment of His Highness Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero as the 15th Emir of Kano, after the nomination of 3 prospective candidates by the Kano Emirate Kingmakers.
Aminu Bayero is replacing Muhammadu Sanusi II who was dethroned earlier today by the Kano state government.
Sanusi Lamido the Emir of Kano was removed by the Kano State Government under Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje and appointed Aminu Ado Bayero Monday, 9 March 2020.
