Pandemonium erupted on Tuesday at the venue of the All Progressive Congress presidential campaign flag-off in Jos as angry youths reportedly bombarded politicians at the event with dangerous objects like planks, stones, and shoes, among other things.
Mandy News learned that several of the venue’s fences and plastic seats were destroyed by the furious youths, who didn’t publicly express their grievances.
The presidential candidate, who had before made a blunder during his speech to the people, was said to have left the venue.
The people holding the Tinubu-emblazoned placards turned rowdy and started throwing them at the dignitaries standing on the platform.
In the now-viral video obtained by Mandy News, the deputy speaker of the house of representatives is heard in the background pleading with the crowd to refrain from throwing stones while the rally is in progress.
