Anita and Paul Okoye have officially divorced.
An Abuja High court sitting in Maitama has finally ended their marriage after receiving the divorce papers that his wife, Anita, presented last year.
The mother of three had requested a divorce from her ex-husband due to his infidelity and neglect as a father.
Anita claimed that she paid N10 million to a mall the singer had just finished in Lekki, Lagos, according to the story Mandy News found on Punch News. She also asked for a settlement of $20,000 (N8.8 million) each month and many of her ex- properties.
Anita, who has been with the artist since day one, elected to settle instead of withdrawing the accusations due to an apparent inability to support all of the allegations in her court petition.
As a result, on October 20, 2022, the court awarded the parties shared custody of the kids in its ruling.
