Popular luxury company Balenciaga is receiving criticism for its most recent advertising campaign featuring kids.

As a result of that, the disturbing campaign video has produced a ton of keywords on Google and TikTok.

Despite being recognized for its avant-garde designs and penchant for pushing the edge, observers claim that Balenciaga has gone too far with its most recent advertising campaign.

Balenciaga is a popular fashion label loved by celebrities like Kim Kardashian and featured in a number of popular songs around the world; nevertheless, the brand is under fire for allegedly sexualizing children in a controversial new advertising campaign.

It all began in the month of November 2022, when a marketing campaign for Balenciaga that was shared on its Instagram account and portrayed kids holding teddy bears decked out in BDSM and Bondage attire went viral.

A closer look at the pictures reveals young girls wearing sweatsuits by Balenciaga alongside stuffed animals wearing what appear to be BDSM-inspired harnesses, as well as documents on the desk that reveal a passage from the 2008 U.S. Supreme Court opinion USV Williams, which upheld the criminalization of pandering to child prngraphy.

The photographer, Gabriele Galimberti, stated in his statement that the pictures were from a project series called “Toy Stories.”

Balenciaga, the high-end fashion label, has since issued an apology for the images that went viral.

In order to recover $25 million from the parties involved in the advertisement using the child pornography court document, Balenciaga stated it will file suit against production company North Six and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins.

Despite the company’s apologetic statement, many people are urging the government to look into it, and several conspiracy theories are still widely circulated on social media.

The book Fire from the Sun by Belgian artist Michal Borremans, which features images of young children with ominous undertones, is in the background.
