Boko Haram Attack In Maiduguri Kills 30, Abducts Women & Children

Abuja — A mass communication student at the University of Maiduguri was among 30 people killed in Auno, a town close to Maiduguri, Borno on Sunday evening in a suicide bombing that was claimed by a jihadist terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria, Boko Haram, after President Muhammadu Buhari insisted that the Boko Haram militant sect has been technically defeated.

According to the report,the terrorists arrived on trucks loaded with heavy weapons, killing, burning and looting before kidnapping women and children.

A young lady, named Jannatul Firdaus Fatima who is a student of the University of Maiduguri was gruesomely burnt to ashes during the incident.
