A video of the Boston Dynamics dog robot shooting with a fully automatic assault rifle perched on its back is trending on social media platforms.
The video was first posted by Alexander Atamanov, the owner of a Russian hoverbike business, and quickly went viral on Twitter.
In the now-viral footage, the dog robot can be seen shooting sporadically.
Although a lot of Twitter users sparked the craze by claiming that Boston Dynamics was working on an assault rifle-mounted version of their dog robot.
Experts claim that the machine appears to be nothing more than a do-it-yourself personal creation by Atamanov, utilizing his own dog robot and a gun he personally possesses.
Robert Graham, a Twitter user, claimed that the Chinese are responsible for creating the robot dog.
