It was assembled that Hassan who hails from Gombe state, was ordered to takeover the Environment Ministry at yesterday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting managed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
A presidential source revealed to Daily Trust the previous evening that Hassan has been solicited to instantly assume responsibility from the Environment Ministry.
“Truly, it is the Minister of State Power, Works and Housing II, Suleiman Hassan that has been asked to takeover the Environment Ministry,” he said.
Review that Jibril’s abdication came days after his development as Emir of Nasarawa.
Jibril was delegated as the Minister of State for Environment in December 2015 when the board was comprised after a senate screening and affirmation.
