Defeating challenger PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar by taking several key battleground states and denying him any inroads in traditional Democratic bastions.

The Northerners states all stayed in Buhari’s column by huge margins, but he also took Lagos state, including all-important Kardashians (Kano, Kaduna & Katsina), bringing the 76-year-old president back to the seat.
