3,183 new infections confirmed on Saturday as the coronavirus COVID-19 rises to 148,654 cases in 149 countries around the world.
Six continents on earth have reported cases from the coronavirus.
Of the 148,654 confirmed cases, 5,547 people have died, 5,683 hospitalized with 63,718 receiving medical care in mild condition. 611 died in Iran, including nearly 1,300 in Italy, more than 3,180 died in China, 136 Spain, 79 France, and 72 South Korea, according to WM figures.
However, many nations around the world have declared a state of emergency and imposed a lockdown and curfews.
