59 countries around the world recorded more than 3,000 new deaths on Thursday, April 2 new cases of 47,010 diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, and 206,275 have recovered. More than 50,000 people have died from the deadly Wuhan virus.

4668 new cases and 760 new deaths in Italy
707 new cases and 34 new deaths in Switzerland
3747 new cases and 66 new deaths in Germany
