John Obi Mikel bashed Trabzonspor league’s board for allowing matches to still go on despite the situation on Sunday. Reportedly he was stayed out of the game against Basaksehir by telling the coach he doesn’t want to get on the pitch, terminated his contract.

• He criticized Turkey for not suspending League for #coronavirus & refused to play last game

“There is more to life than football. I do not feel comfortable and don’t want to play football in this situation. Everyone should be home with their families and loved ones in this critical time. Season should be canceled as the world is facing such turbulent times,” John Obi Mikel said via Instagram.
