The federal republic of Nigeria has become Sub-Saharan Africa’s worst-hit country on Saturday after confirming new fatalities cases from NCDC official figures. It has now recorded 85 death with 2,388 total cases.
Nigeria’s death toll from COVID-19 has now leapt to 85 people, making the country the worst hit in Sub-Saharan Africa, after Cameroon, Ghana.
Nigeria recorded 17 new deaths on Saturday with 220 cases, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) data.
So far over 34 states in the country have recorded coronavirus cases, On the 2nd of May 2020, 220 new confirmed cases and 17 deaths were recorded, no new state has reported a case in the last 24 hours.
