A multiples media report had it that hundreds of coronavirus test kits ordered from China turned out to be contaminated with coronavirus.
On Monday, May 4 the President of Tanzania’s President John Magufuli said imported coronavirus testing kits are faulty, saying they returned positive results on goat, pawpaw, engine oil, birds, and sheep.
Mr Magufuli also blamed the fast rise of coronavirus cases in his country on the faulty testing kits.
Thousand of people took to Twitter on Tuesday to protests calling the coronavirus testing kits a scam.
