LAGOS — Nigeria’s evacuation of citizens from Dubai has almost come to an end as a total of 256 Nigerians citizens have been evacuated from Dubai by Wednesday evening, Nigeria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs said.
The evacuees included A pregnant woman went into labour, Geoffrey Onyeama statement said.
“Presidential Taskforce on #COVID19 Press briefing: with regards to the evacuation of Nigerians back home –
A woman went into labour on the evacuation flight from UAE today. The flight had to return to land. Mother and child are doing very well in the hospital,” Mr Onyeama statement said.
“The Flight conveying 256 Nigerians evacuated from Dubai has landed Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos,” he later confirmed.
