Here’s everything the Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Godwin Obaseki, Jones Osagiobare Said at Friday’s 2020 governor election debate with BBC Pidgin ahead of 19 September Edo poll.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Peoples Democratic Party, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of All Progressives Congress and Jones Osagiobare of Young Progressives Party Jones Osagiobare were live at BBC Pidgin Edo Governorship Debate 2020.

The candidate of d All Progressive Congress (APC), Osagie Ize-Iyamu said that he has plans for the state which he tags ‘simple agenda’.

He said the SIMPLE agenda means -Security, infrastructure, manpower training, public-private partnership, leadership by example, employment- he would focus on this area if elected into power.

During the debate, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Peoples Democratic Party said he cannot debate because of emergency meeting somewhere. He later came back before the debate ended.

The candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Jones Osagiobare, said he will partner with some America company to help mechanise agriculture for the state.
