Just like “Otoge” in Kware State, a slogan used by indigenes in a movement against the influence of some political godfathers, Edo state residents has also launched a campaign strategy to mobilize themselves and vote out godfatherism in the state.

Viral photos spotted on the internet “Edo No Be Lagos” stickers can be seen on every taxi, buses and private cars in Edo state.

What is the meaning of ‘Edo No Be Lagos’?

“Edo No Be Lagos” which means “Edo state is not like Lagos State” where Bola Tinubu determines who will be Governor, Local Government Chairmen, House of Assembly Members, Senators and who will be representing the state at the House of Representatives.
