“Only us can fix Owan, no one would do that for us. We have to take responsibility. It is not a good thing that youths today don’t feel concerned about the political activities around us, whereas every governmental policy affects us all in one way or another. Today Youths are not politically inclined compared to the youths we saw when we were very young, many of which are still in charge of our leadership today. Most youths are only interested in what they can get from politicians and not concerned about what they can give to society, making the elites take advantage of the year in and year out with peanuts. It’s a very unfortunate development.
We have to take responsibility. In doing this, we must be ready and willing to make sacrifices to achieve a common purpose,” Elabor said in a statement during a live interview session titled “Owan Focus; Paradigm Shift & Youths” with Elder John Egeruan over the weekend.
He added, that youths should use the advantage of social media to make positive impacts on society.
