As a result of the rise in Coronavirus in Portugal, reports says that Portuguese professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has transformed his chain of hotels into hospitals for free treatment of those affected by the virus.

A viral report of Twitter by FutbolBible says “Cristiano Ronaldo will transform his chain of hotels into hospitals where the Coronavirus infected patients in Portugal will be able to be treated completely free of charge.”

He added by praising the Juventus player “CR7 will also cover the salaries of all the doctors and workers. Incredible gesture, what a man.”

Juventus official website and Marca also reported the news.

Sport journalist Kristof Terreur has declined the news as fake and Marca had taken down the story post the revelation.

“Reported as fake in Portugal, in the meantime deleted by Marca (who made it a viral story), Kristof said.
