Fayose’s Ex-Aide, Mr Ayodeji Adu, Others Defect To APC

The Special Assistant on Local Government Affairs beneath the Ayo Fayose management in Ekiti State, Mr Ayodeji Adu, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.

Adu, along with some PDP supporters in Afao Ekiti, introduced their defection when the marketing campaign teach of the APC House of Assembly candidate in Irepodun/ Ifelodun State Constituency II, Hakeem Jamiu, arrived the network on Wednesday.

MandyNews gathered that the former governor’s aide, who spoke for the defectors, said they have been encouraged via Governor Kayode Fayemi’s “sterling” leadership qualities.

“This selection to sell off PDP for APC became borne out of patriotism and it’s far for the betterment of my kingdom and usa home.

“Afao Ekiti, in spite of generating the governor of the state for eight years continues to be in shambles with out meaningful development, subsequently the want to embrace the proper thoughts which could take the town out of the current monetary and social despondency

“I pledge my commitment to the success of the APC candidate in Afao Ekiti. I need to guarantee you that the APC will have a block vote in the town come Saturday, ” he stated.
