
Firefighters are battling an enormous blaze on the French capital’s iconic Notre Dame Cathedral.
Flames and black smoke had been seen capturing from the bottom of the medieval church’s spire on Monday.
The height of the church is present process a 6 million-euro ($6.eight million) renovation mission.
French media quoted the Paris fireplace brigade saying the hearth is “probably linked” to the renovation work.
