Governor Obiano Visits SARS Offices In Anambra, Frees Detainees

The Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano on Saturday visited the three offices of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ekwulobia, Neni and Awkuzu.

According to the report obtained by MandyNews via DailyPost, the governor during his visit granted bail unconditionally to three detainees illegally held by the SARS.

“the Commissioner of Police in the state has released everyone detained illegally, and everyone remanded by the order of the court will remain there until their cases are determined,” Governor Obiano said.
