The Grammy Awards in 2022 were not only horribly boring, but they also shocked and absolutely devastated many music fans all over the world.
As in the instance of BTS followers who believed their idol would win but were disappointed when BTS was defeated for the second time at the Grammys.
To the extent that many fans of Wizkid, also known as Wizkid FC, flocked to Angelique Kidjo’s Instagram page to criticize her for winning the Best Global Music Performance award.
The award received abysmally poor ratings. Even British model Naomi Campbell was forced to issue a statement to the organizers of the Recording Awards.
The Grammys’ organizers appear to be aware of this, and they’ve responded in the same manner they always do: by adding lots of new award categories.
With so many new categories added to the award, it’s easy to predict that BTS will be named the Grammy winner next year, in 2023.
According to Variety, the GRAMMYs are planning to add a new category called “Best Song for Social Change.”
As a result, the ARMY of BTS has flocked to social media to express their joy and hope that their idol would win the biggest music award this time.
According to the report, submissions for this category must include lyrical material that confronts a current societal issue and promotes understanding, peacebuilding, and empathy.
Many people believe the category was introduced because of the South Korean boy band.
Do you think BTS will be nominated for that category next year?
