A video that appears to show a pregnant woman and her four children on the ground after being murdered by suspected IPOB gangs has gone viral.
The woman’s lifeless body and her children can be seen in the red sand on mobile phone footage.
The video, which was apparently shot in the Nigerian state of Anambra, has sparked outrage in Northern Nigeria over the proscribed IPOB’s homicidal involvement in the country.
According to the report sighted by MandyNews.com, the woman, whose name is Harira Jibril, was 9 months pregnant.
The report says Harira was walking her four daughters—Fatima, 9, Aisha 7, Hadiza 5, and Zaituna—before they were gunned down by the suspected IPOB gangs.
According to a viral allegation, Harira and her four children were killed together with two truck drivers and a suya seller on the same day.
Jibril Ahmed, the husband of Harira, tells BBC Hausa that he felt like he was on fire when he heard the news.
According to Jibril, he was charged N30,000 to hold the bodies at the mortuary.
The video and the pictures can be seen on Twitter.
