In the summer of 2010, then-20-year-old Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun took to Twitter sending multiple tweets begging Nigerian celebrities for help.

How did Banky W met Wizkid?

In the August 13th of 2010, then-20-year-old Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun took to Twitter tweet at Mr Banky to help him. He said to Banky W, “hey Mr Banky..my name is Wizkid and I’m up and coming in d music industry and I need ur help mehn”

Banky W replied Wizkid; “k send me ur demo”

The young Wizkid also made another tweet the same day to A Nigerian legendary rapper, Terry Tha Rapman.

He said, “tharapman hey Mr terry..my name is Wizkid nd I’m up nd coming in d music industry nd I need ur help mehn..”
