Governor Godwin Obaseki has been disqualified by All Progressives Congress screening committee for Edo governorship election aspirants.
Godwin Obaseki was rejected on Friday by panel of All Progressives Congress (APC) from contesting the primary poll in Edo State.
Why was Obaseki disqualified by APC?
Obaseki not eligible to contest under APC because his HSC and NYSC certificates are defective. His NYSC certificate has the name “OBASEK” instead of Obaseki.
The question everyone is asking is, Godwin Obaseki was qualified in 2015 but somehow no longer eligible under same Party in 2020.
The Governor was rejected on APC primary polls at the national secretariat in Abuja after Jonathan Ayuba, Chairman of the screening committee present the report to Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman.
