The killing of Amir Locke, a young black man who was shot in his St. Paul. Amelia Huffman, home by SWAT team officer in February – has echoed around social media, with protesters demanding that the public “say his name”.
On February 3, 2022, Amir Locke, a 22-year-old Black guy, was shot and killed by police in his downtown Minneapolis apartment after a SWAT team busted through his door.
Why Was Amir Locke Killed
Minneapolis police SWAT team, executing a search warrant, forced their way into the apartment where Amir Locke was in bed alone, he was asleep, tucked under a blanket in the early morning.
10 seconds later, the Minneapolis Police shot and killed him.
In a viral video sighted by Mandy News, Amir had barely opened his eyes before he was executed.
