In some categories, special committees of voting members from all Academy chapters determine the final nominations.

Once the nominees are announced, it’s time for the final round of voting! Members can vote in up to ten categories and the four main ones.

After the voting, the votes are counted by Deloitte & Touche LLP. The winners are then announced at the Grammy Awards show. If there’s a tie, both nominees win!
