Atiku Abubakar, former Vice-president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has challenged Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to offer proof that he’s a Cameroonian.
Kanu in his latest broadcast had said Atiku is not a Nigerian as he has usually claimed.
“Do you realize that Atiku Abubakar is from Cameroon? His location of Adamawa was in Cameroon,” he had stated.
However, talking in a talk with Daily Independent, Paul Ibe, Atiku’s media aide, said the onus lies on Kanu to deliver evidence that his main is an indigene of Cameroon.
“You media have to ask him to deliver the evidence. It is not the person this is being accused that you will ask. It is the person that made the allegations that you will ask to bring his proof of wherein he (Atiku) is from or wherein he isn’t always from,” he said.
