What Is The Cause Of Death Of Ifeanyi Adeleke?
According to the police, Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Davido and Chioma Rowland, drowned to death. This was found by an autopsy performed on his body on Saturday.
The PUNCH had a conversation with Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police’s public relations officer, who confirmed the situation.
“The autopsy is finished,” remarked Hundeyin. It is conclusive evidence that Ifeanyi drowned.
Remember that there were hints in the Mandy News fact-check story that the police would perform an autopsy to ascertain whether Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s home in the Banana Island district of Lagos State.
According to the MANDYNEWS previous report, eight domestic workers were questioned by the police in relation to Ifeanyi’s death.
The cook and nanny, whose responsibility it was to look after the three-year-old boy’s well-being, were detained for various offenses, including failing to uphold their legal obligation to take care of the child.
The Adeleke family, Davido, and his fiancée Chioma Rowland have not released any official statements as of the time this news was filed, and the nanny and cook are reportedly still being held in custody.
